Join me during my third year as I start school, learn to ride a bike, and search for "pretty girls with colored toes."

Hiding from Elmo

Whew, I don't think he saw me! I'm at my pal Anderson's 2nd birthday party this afternoon, and I'm hiding out in a tent in his backyard. Mommy said there would be cookies and cake, but she said nothing about Elmo showing up here! He's much bigger than he looks on tv. I'd say he's at least twice my size! So scary! I wish he'd leave so I could raid the snack table again. The other kids are taking pictures with him, the idiots!

Strawberry Pickin'

Yep, it's Memorial Day, so a group of "big boys" from church decided to go strawberry picking. They are all much older than me--like ages 3-6!--but I think I got just as many strawberries as they did! The trick is to grab the red ones and leave the green ones behind. Good thing I know my colors! There are tons of people out here. We arrived 15 minutes after they opened, and the parking lot was already full of other city slickers who ventured way out to the Maryland boonies to get berries. Everyone else seems to be eating them right away, but I don't much care for the way they taste. I just like pulling them off the plant.

Heidi's Softball Game

Today we went to see Heidi's last high school softball game. It was alot like baseball, but without the scary fireworks! And finally someone let me take the equipment out onto the field. They were stingy about that at the Nationals. Heidi is a really, really big kid. She is going to college at UCLA in the fall, but she promises to hang with me this summer when Mommy is busy.

Nats versus Phillies

"Take me out of this ballgame,
Take me out of this crowd,
I'm scared of fireworks and all this noise,
I don't care to see more of these boys,
So just, take me home to my bed now,
Two innings of this was enough,
Cause it's way, way, past my bedtime,
I don't like this stuff!"

(The bike racks are fun though.)

Puppies!

Mr. Ed had puppies! Well, technically, his dog Pixie did. Four of them, though only two would sit still for this photo op. I want a puppy! I WANT ALL THESE PUPPIES! They are so cute! They aren't potty-trained yet, so they just pee whenever they want, just like I do when Mommy takes my diaper off. We have so much in common! One of them tried to chew on my toy backhoe--maybe I'll leave that puppy here with Mr. Ed. I don't want any doggies messing with my diggers....

The Lollipop

Look, everybody, my tongue is BLUE!! And I mean blue! I went to a truck touch this morning, and there were all these fun games where you could win lollipops! I won several times, and I always chose the blue lollies, so now my tongue is bright blue. I think I'll try to lick some stuff and see if it will turn blue too....
